Data Ladies brings together women data enthusiasts from government, civil society, academia and the private sector to chat, discover and network on all things data.
Pollicy is holding its seventh meeting with a small group of ladies that have a keen interest in using data for their work, for research, for insights or just for fun. The aim of the meetup is to bring women together to explore different open-source tools, discuss the challenges within the statistics/data science field in Uganda, support each other in our data journeys and ultimately, to have a good time together.
This time, we're partnering with Kweeta and co-hosting the WanaData journalists to investigate improve means of collecting data. Join us for a discussion with our guest speak Shanine Ahimbisibwe from Kweeta as we talk storytelling and investigative journalism.
Be sure to bring your laptops as we'll begin our explorations into data together!
